What are USL’s analysis turnaround times?

Preliminary results are normally available within two working days. Same day services can be negotiated. Specialised analysis can take a longer period of time.

What analysis techniques does USL use?

Ark spark spectrometers, Leco Carbon/Sulphur analyser, Plasma Techniques, Atomic Absorption, Classical methods (AS; ASTM; APHA).

Are USL NATA accredited?

Yes. Accreditation number 492.

What are USL’s opening hours?

Mon-Fri 9-5.

What about the samples after testing?

Samples will be returned to the clients if requested, otherwise, will be retained in laboratory for a certain period of time.

Does USL accept credit card payment?

No. USL only accept bank transfer and cheque payment.

Will samples be damaged after testing?

Yes, samples will be machined, drilled or cut to obtain working surface, or shavings to provide wet digestion.
